The second season started premiering on BBC One on the 28th of August, 2022. Now, the show is coming to the streaming platform Peacock. What is The Capture Season 2 about?

Season one of the show is set in Afghanistan. It revolves around former Lance Corporal of the British Army, Shaun Emery. In a turn of events, he gets accused of kidnapping and murdering his barrister. CCTV evidence emerges as solid proof. Now, Emery tries to clear his name. But Rachel Carey, a detective inspector, discovers a conspiracy against Emery.

Season two of The Capture also involves some of the basic elements of the first season. In this season, Isaac Turner is a rising politician. He finds himself stuck in a similar kind of conspiracy. A deepfake surrounding him emerges. Now, Rachel must expose the truth before things get out of hand.

It also stars Ben Miles as Danny Hart and Lia Williams as Gemma Garland. Nigel Lindsay plays Tom Kendricks, and Daisy Waterstone plays Abigail. Peter Singh plays the role of DI Phillips.
