North Suburban Medical Center Has Received Designation as a Level II Trauma Center

The North Suburban Medical Center of HCA/HealthONE is designated as a Level II Trauma Center. The CDPHE (Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment has designated this to the North Suburban Medical Center. The achievement recognizes the ability of the North Suburban to serve the most sensitive as well as the severely injured patients.

The Level II designation has made the North Suburban Medical Center the one and only Level II Trauma Center in the Adams County of Colorado as well as empowered it to provide the encompassing trauma care for the patients in the Thornton, Federal Heights, Northglenn, Westminster, Commerce City, Henderson and the neighborhoods in the Broomfield as well as in Arvada.

The President and CEO of the North Suburban Medical Center named Daphne David said that the North Suburban prided that as a center of excellence for their community, and with the level II trauma designation, they were then able to serve their community members when the community needed them the most, by reviving their health and the function after being injured seriously.

The Trauma program at the North Suburban Medical Center has been developing for some years and also prides it self for the comprehensive standardize trauma care through a group of experts who are specialists in treating the complex trauma injuries. North Suburban is now expanding their clinical teamwork and expertise in trauma management and also is increasing the capacity by launching a newer state of the art modern intensive care unit with 12 more beds in 2019.
