Native Light Is Joining the Global GivingTuesday Movement

The Native Light: Faces of Native America is going to celebrate this GivingTuesday giving by seeking to promote funds to complete the entire project which will provide to a better understanding of the contemporary Native America. GivingTuesday will be taking on 3rd December, and it is a global day of providing which harnesses the cumulative power of the communities, individuals and organizations to inspire giving and also to celebrate the generosity worldwide. Each year, on this GivingTuesday, billions of people around the globe assemble to show up and change the communities.

The Native Light Project is a newer shape of work by Craig Varjabedian, an award-winning photographer. He has captured several portraits of the Native American children, men and women. The project is searching to complete the entire photography and to provide a honoraria to this subject. Native Light will provide a better understanding of the contemporary Native America.

GivingTuesday was first founded in 2012 and has encouraged billions of people to support and to give back the causes that they trust. In 2018, more than $400 million was lifted to benefit a broader range of the organizations and more was provided in the volunteer hours, donation of clothing, foods, and the acts of kindness.

Marquel Musgrave Tewa wrote that the largest impact of that project lied within the collaborative approach to every photo partnering subject as well as artist which shifted the power paradigm of conventional visual of Native American people in the American Art by updating the outmoded plans about the Native cultural identity.
