The miniseries revolves around a woman who miraculously survives a plane crash. But unfortunately, her co-passengers are all dead, and she has to struggle to keep her breath going.

The show reveals her emotional desperation trying to survive the silent wilderness. In a battle against time and death, she remembers moments from her life. Finally, she has to find a way back home.

Netflix’s official YouTube channel describes the series, “When a small plane crashes in the middle of the Canadian wilderness, a lone survivor must battle the elements — and her personal demons— to stay alive.”

Melissa Barrera stars in the lead role. She portrays Liv, the woman trying to survive the harsh wilderness.

Barrera has worked in many television shows and films in her career. She has acted in Scream, In the Heights, Vida, among others. She is also remembered for her role in popular telenovelas like Tanto Amor and Perseguidos.

Apart from Barrera, the series features many actors in important supporting roles. They are Austin Stowell, Jeff Wilbusch, Florencia Lozano, and Juan Pablo Espinosa.

Creators Martin Gero and Brendan Gall also serve as executive producers for the series. Gero has worked on shows like Blindspot and HBO’s Bored to Death. He is also credited for films like The Lovebirds, YPF, and Grado 3.

Brendan Gall has made shows like Open Heart, The L.A. Complex, and many more. He has also acted in Men With Brooms, Remedy, and Good God, among many more.

The trailer shows the woman consoling a child, saying, “It’s not your fault”. Then, her plane crashes in a deep jungle, and she’s trapped. There is not a single human for miles. She has to battle nature and her own shortcomings to survive.
