HCA Healthcare/HealthONE’s Swedish Medical Center Hosts Shave Off Event for Prostate Cancer Research

It is the year when the air is getting cooler and beards are getting longer. November is the month of Men’s Health Awareness Month that brings consciousness and support the health issues that most of the men face. In the 2nd annual event, the Swedish Medical Center will soon join the Bishops Cuts/Color Highlands Ranch to aid to raise the consciousness as well as money for the research in prostate cancer through TUCC Foundation. The 1st level of trauma center is going to host a shave off on 31st October in main lobby of the hospital. The Patients, visitors as well as the nurses and physicians are shaving their bread off and then they are encouraged to grow it back in November to increase the awareness of prostate cancer.

  • The event is totally free and is open for the public.
  • Shaving the beards starts at 10AM and it will continue until 2PM.
  • The donation to TUCC Foundation is highly encouraged.
  • Complimentary valet is readily available, plus both the treats and snacks will be provided also.
